Beg by C.D. Reiss

Synopsis:
Jonathan Drazen is a known womanizer and a gorgeous piece of
man I'm not letting into my heart. Ever.

Yeah, he's rich, beautiful, charming as hell, and he has a wit as sharp as a double-edged razor... but he's made it perfectly clear that this is a short-term fuck. Three nights, tops, then we part like sexually satisfied grown-ups.

I believe him when he says he can't love me. I'm not trying to fall in love, either.

We get in. Get it on. Get the hell out. Done.

Right?

Right.

My Thoughts:
When I first saw Beg by C.D. Reiss, I wanted to read it, but I was a little hesitant. I had never read erotica before, especially BDSM erotica. Frankly, the idea left me feeling a little uncomfortable. It turns out I had nothing to worry about. I loved Beg.

My only complaint about Beg is that the story started off so slow. It took about twenty percent to become interesting. Usually I DNF at about ten percent if I'm not into the book by then. However, I had heard a lot of people talk about how good it was, so I decided to continue. After the twenty percent mark, it got so much better. I found myself loving the characters and the plot. As previously stated, I thought the BDSM was going to make me uncomfortable, but it didn't. I found myself really enjoying it.

Once I finished Beg, I quickly became obsessed. I loved the world that C.D. Reiss created, and wanted more of it. I found myself finishing the whole series in about five days. I can't wait to read C.D. Reiss's other books, and dive deeper into the Drazen world.

I give Beg: 4/5.
